NEW PFC IDENTITY

Introducing a brand new identity. After more than 7 years, we say goodbye to the old logo and a brand new era for PFC is born.

In cooperation with the renowned Czech graphic designer, specialist in typography and branding, Šimon Matějka, the PragueFloorballCup gets a new look. The process, which lasted for many months, finally brought this collaboration to its final form, which clearly indicates what PFC is all about. The podium-shaped appearance and special typography present a modern and comprehensive vision that PFC wants to present in the coming years.

Separate tournaments under the PFC banner are also getting a new look. For PFC WINTER, the anchor element was "W", which symbolizes harsh winter and icicles. The May SPRING follows on from last year's successful year, and the melted "Géčko" marks the spring mood of this tournament.

Martin Forman, the founder and one of the directors of the tournaments, commented on the process and the final form of the new branding: "It was not an easy journey, we were in contact with Šimon for over 3 months and there were countless scenarios and versions of how the logotype could look. In the end, we came to something that the whole team is very happy about. We wanted to move the logo and I think we succeeded. The interconnectedness of the logo and how we can use it even within individual years will help establish PFC as a unique brand within the sports environment in our country. I would like to thank everyone who participated in this big change and also a little thank you to the old logo, which gave the tournament a really long time and it was not easy to say goodbye to it."
