DAY 1: NEW ERA BEGUN

The first day of the Prague Floorball Cup 2025 brought not only thrilling matches but also the first major use of the tournament's new visual identity. After more than seven years, the organizers decided to change the logo, marking the start of a new era for PFC. In collaboration with renowned Czech graphic designer Šimon Matějka, a modern and comprehensive visual style was created, reflecting the essence of the tournament. The podium-shaped logo and special typography represent the vision PFC aims to showcase in the coming years.

Martin Forman, founder and one of the tournament directors, shared his thoughts on the branding process: "It wasn’t an easy journey; we were in contact with Šimon for more than three months, and countless drafts and versions of the logo were created. In the end, we arrived at something the whole team is very happy with. We wanted to elevate the logo, and I think we’ve succeeded. Connecting the logo and its use across individual editions will help establish PFC as a unique brand in the Czech sports landscape."

The first day of the tournament was filled with intense floorball action. Matches were played in six different venues, featuring dozens of games that delivered not only dramatic moments but also top-level performances across all categories. Teams from six countries showcased exceptional skills, demonstrating their high level of preparation and determination. Spectators enjoyed close-fought battles as well as goal-packed thrillers, highlighting the prestige and quality of the Prague Floorball Cup.

The second day of the tournament promises an even busier schedule. PFC MINI, designed for the youngest floorball players, will kick off over the course of two game days – Saturday and Sunday. The tournament will take place at the SCUK Hostivař venue, ensuring logistics are as smooth as possible for participating teams. After the group stages, teams will be divided into performance-based groups to compete against evenly matched opponents for their final placement.

In addition to PFC MINI, the second day will feature a large number of matches across all categories. The tournament has welcomed teams from six countries, ensuring an international atmosphere and a high level of competition.

Live streams from selected venues (CAM, JED, VIN, and SHJ) will be complemented tomorrow morning by free streams from the MINI venue in Hostivař (HOS)!

The second day of PFC Winter 2025 is just beginning and promises unforgettable sports experiences for all participants and spectators.
